We first met Bob Coffman at an open house in our previous neighborhood earlier this year. While we were there more as curious neighbors then as serious potential home buyers, we were just starting to think about purchasing our first home and hadn’t yet gotten serious about the process.
As we chatted with Bob about our vague plans, he immediately made us feel very comfortable and even excited about the prospect of searching for potential homes and making offers. Bob’s casual and easy-going manner, as well as he and his team’s intimate knowledge of the local housing market, put us at ease and gave us the confidence to work with him and to begin in earnest the search for the home that we now own and love.
Over the next several weekends Bob accompanied us to numerous open houses and was able to grant us access to other properties that were available for showing as he developed a comprehensive idea of what we were looking for in an ideal home for our family, as well as our dealbreakers and the things we were willing to compromise. He got to know us and our search criteria to the point where he knew what we were going to like and dislike about a potential property before we told him.
When we finally found the home we knew we wanted for our family, Bob made the process of making an offer and interacting with the sellers and their agent very smooth. We were thrilled to be the winning bidders and have absolutely loved moving into our new home and getting to know our new neighborhood.
We recently had Bob over to show him how we have decorated our new home and to thank him again for his patient, diligent and tireless work throughout the process. We feel grateful to have met Bob at that open house and are glad we decided to use him as a guide through our first home-buying journey.
